Spring 2016 Women's

Collection

This collection is called "Dear Lavender".  It was designed and created by me in 2013 for a small local fashion show called Crème de la Crème.

I was inspired first by the soft, flowy fabric and knew this had to be designed into a romantic and feminine collection thus I gave it a lot of ruffles and fullness.  I kept the main color lavender and added an accent color of silver or gray.  I used three different fabrics in total.  The fabrics were very difficult to work with as they were very light and slippery.  This was also the first time I created a strapless dress and used boning to keep the structure strong.  Overall, it turned out exactly like how I had envisioned it.
